Bucholz McEvoy Architects was founded by Merritt Bucholz and Karen McEvoy in 1996 following their successful entry into the international competition to design the new civic headquarters for Fingal County Council.
Since then the company has grown, with 20 architects with offices in Dublin and Berlin, and enjoys a reputation as the leading exponents of both high quality/ low energy design across Europe in both the public and private sectors. The practice provides full RIAI architectural services together with interior design, urban design, masterplanning, conservation architecture, landscape design and infrastructure/ ecological design. We also have our own in-house modelshop, a primary tool in our laboratory of research and design development.
